Hi Jason,

I came across your story on the Indian Memory Project where you had shared your grandfather's story. I am currently writing a piece on vintage photograph's for a magazine.

For the same, I wanted to take some feeds from you. The story that you shared on the Indian Memory Project is amazing. Please let me know if I can use it in my article. (Due credits will be given)
Would really appreciate it !! Thanks

I had read your beautiful story on your grand father's secrets in The Indian Memory Project and had left my comments at the end of the post. Then I found your blog spot, and vastly enjoyed the vimeo taken, when you and your grandfather made a trip to Bangalore. That you love your grand father deeply is obvious, for the amount of trouble you had taken to trace the records in a Government office, for the graves of your grandpa's ancestors, and later to find Scott's bungalow. It must have been a very emotional moment for him.
I am now writing to you with a request. Would you be able to spare me a photograph of the Victoria's of his times. They are slowly being phased out and a slice of history is going to be lost forever.
If you can help me, I would deeply appreciate it.
Thank you,
sicnerely,
Radha Nair

Jason, I came across your blog from the Indian Memory project. I was intrigued because I recently met my 90 year old neighbor who had a strange familiar accent (I am from India, so my ears perked when I heard her voice!) When I asked her where she is from, she said she is a 5th generation Anglo-Indian. Her stories are fascinating. But what was most intriguing is her love for India. Anyway, I will enjoy following your posts. Thank you so much for sharing!
